I am a producer, writer and actor with extensive experience in both theatre and film. I am a graduate of Ryerson University's Theatre Acting Program. I produced my first professional production, Chile Con Carne by Carmen Aguirre, in 1999 under my first company, 4 Devils Productions, at the Tarragon Theatre. This production was a result of the lack of high quality, non-stereotypical roles for Latin actors in both theatre and film.

I fell in love with producing and my collaboration with Carmen Aguirre (Chile Con Carne, The Refugee Hotel) and Guillermio Verdecchia (Fronteres Americanas, A Line in the Sand, The Noam Chomsky Lectures, Bloom) was the spark for what is now Alameda Theatre Company, an avenue for Latin voices in Canada.

My first play, Three Fingered Jack & the Legend of Joaquin Murieta, was selected for the 2004 Groundswell Festival of New Works by Women (Nightwood Theatre) and was workshopped at Harbourfront Centre's Ritmo y Color Festival that same year. Three Fingered Jack & the Legend of Joaquin Murieta is the inaugural production for Alameda Theatre Company at the 2006 SummerWorks Theatre Festival.

My acting credits include: Narc, One for the Money, DOC, 1-800-Missing, and Save'ums. My poetry has been published in both Spanish and English and in 2003 was selected by the Governor General of Canada for inclusion in the National Library Collection as part of Proyecto Adrienne (a Canada/Chile collaboration).
